Our aim is simple: tell readers what happened, what it costs, who is behind it and why it matters. Quickly, accurately and without hype.

CityLifeBytes is published by CityLifeBytes, an independent online publication based in the United States.

The publisher is responsible for everything that appears on this site.

How we work

Our articles are based on official announcements, information from companies and auction houses, public records, and the reporting of established news organisations. Every article lists the sources it relies on.

Articles are compiled from those sources, checked against them before publication, and published under the editorial responsibility of the publisher. Our Editorial Policy explains this process in detail. Our Corrections page explains how to report a mistake.

How we are funded

CityLifeBytes is free to read. It is funded by advertising, served mainly through Google AdSense.

Advertisers do not choose, see in advance or influence what we write. We do not sell coverage: there is no paid placement in our editorial content, and nobody can pay for an article, a favourable mention or a link. If we ever publish sponsored or affiliate content, it will be clearly labelled as such.
