Ferrari 499P Modificata reaches auction for the first time at Gooding Christie’s Geneva
The track-only variant of the Le Mans-winning hypercar will headline Gooding Christie's inaugural Geneva sale in November, estimated at more than CHF 7.5 million.

Gooding Christie’s will present the first Ferrari 499P Modificata to reach public auction when it holds its inaugural Geneva sale on November 8 at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues. The 2024 model carries an estimate in excess of CHF 7,500,000 and anchors a catalogue published on October 24.
The 499P Modificata is a track-only interpretation of the 499P that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Unlike the race version, Ferrari freed this variant from competition regulations to create what the maker describes as a more powerful and unrestricted machine. The car pairs a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V-6 with a front-axle electric motor, generating a combined 707 PS. A “Push to Pass” button adds 163 PS, bringing the total system output to 870 PS.
The example offered has travelled only during its initial factory shakedown and is being sold by its original owner. According to Gooding Christie’s, it retains its original red livery. Buyers will gain access to Ferrari’s Sport Prototipi Clienti Program, which provides factory support, maintenance, logistics, and trackside technical assistance at dedicated track events held alongside F1 Clienti and the XX Programme.
The Competition Heritage
The 499P’s Le Mans victories mark Ferrari’s first overall win at the 24-hour race since 1965. The Modificata builds on this racing success by recalibrating the suspension, electric controls, and engine mappings beyond the race car’s confines. Pirelli has supplied bespoke tyres fitted to the track-only version.
The Sale Details
The Geneva Auction takes place as part of Christie’s Luxury Week in early November. Viewing is scheduled from Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8 at a designated facility, with shuttles provided from the Four Seasons. Oliver Camelin, Gooding Christie’s Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said the 499P Modificata represents “an extraordinary machine, created by Ferrari to offer a very select group of collectors the unique opportunity to experience firsthand a car directly derived from the 499P that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans outright in 2023, 2024 and 2025.”
