Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces Master Ultra Thin Moon in 36mm pink gold
The watchmaker releases a smaller version of its dress watch with an in-house movement and a 70-hour power reserve.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has unveiled a 36-millimetre version of its Master Ultra Thin Moon in 18-karat pink gold, positioning the timepiece as a dress watch that draws its proportions from 1950s round watches. The polished pink gold case contrasts with a silvered sunray-brushed dial, creating an aesthetic the house describes as refined and understated.
The dial layout emphasises symmetry, with a date aperture and moon-phase display positioned at six o’clock. The moon itself sits against a deep blue starry background, with dates printed in black around the window. Trapezoidal hour markers echo the shape of the Dauphine hands, which feature a satin-brushed facet on one side and a polished facet on the other, allowing the hands to catch light differently depending on the viewing angle. An interchangeable black alligator strap with an 18-karat pink gold pin buckle provides flexibility for the wearer.
In-house movement and finishing
The Master Ultra Thin Moon houses Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Calibre 925, a self-winding movement designed, manufactured and assembled at the house’s Manufacture-Atelier in Le Sentier, Switzerland. According to the manufacturer, the calibre delivers 70 hours of power reserve and has proven reliable through years of production. The movement features fine decorative finishes visible through the transparent sapphire case-back: Côtes de Genève stripe work, bevelled bridges and blued screws. An open-worked rotor in 22-karat pink gold enhances the visual appeal of the mechanism.

Heritage and design philosophy
The Master Ultra Thin collection draws inspiration from Jaeger-LeCoultre’s legacy of ultra-thin watches dating to the early 1900s. The Master Ultra Thin line translates this expertise into a contemporary dress watch characterised by clean lines, polished surfaces and long, curving lugs.
The 36-millimetre case size represents a deliberate reference to vintage proportions, reflecting what Jaeger-LeCoultre describes as the proportions of mid-century round watches. This dimension signals a return to classical watchmaking aesthetics.
