Four Dutch superyachts over 70 metres available for immediate sale

Burgess says it has listed four recently delivered Dutch-built vessels over 70 metres simultaneously, a concentration of tonnage from Northern European yards that the broker says rarely appears on the market at once.

Finding a Dutch-built superyacht exceeding 70 metres available for immediate purchase is uncommon; finding four at the same time is exceptional, according to Burgess. The four vessels—ENERGY, BOARDWALK V, SYNTHESIS and VANISH—were all delivered within the past five years and are listed by a firm that says it represents every Dutch-built yacht over 70 metres currently on the brokerage market.

All four yachts present in excellent condition and offer an alternative to the extended wait times and rising costs of new construction. Burgess positions the group as appealing to buyers seeking proven engineering and customisation from Netherlands shipyards, whether as permanent acquisitions or interim solutions while a new build is under way.

The four vessels

ENERGY, at 2,885 gross tonnes, is the largest of the group. The yacht’s interior includes a martial arts room, piano lounge, and full owner’s deck, with an elevator serving all guest decks. The sun deck features a jacuzzi, while the owner’s deck has its own jacuzzi and firepit. A bar lounge with sliding glass doors and a central pool complete the recreational spaces.

BOARDWALK V displaces 1,848 gross tonnes and has been under private ownership since delivery. The yacht features seven cabins, with the owner’s apartment occupying the full beam and offering separate bathrooms and dressing rooms alongside a private lounge. At water level, the beach club incorporates a wellness centre offering gymnasium facilities, treatment rooms, sauna and a dedicated dive operation. The sun deck includes an oversized pool and a helipad positioned aft.

SYNTHESIS is the fifth hull in the Amels 242 Limited Edition series, displacing 1,790 gross tonnes. The yacht combines interiors by Winch Design with exteriors by Tim Heywood. An elevator serves the decks. The lower deck contains wellness amenities including a plunge pool, sauna, hammam and massage suite. The upper deck features a large infinity pool and helipad.

VANISH displaces 1,728 gross tonnes and has remained under the same ownership since launch. The yacht’s 12.5-metre beam and interior arrangement drew recognition in 2022 when she won the World Superyacht Awards category for displacement motor yachts between 1,500 and 1,999 gross tonnes. She offers two helicopter decks, a beach club, wellness facilities and can accommodate up to 14 guests.

Market context

According to Burgess, new-build costs continue to rise while delivery schedules extend years into the future, making recently delivered brokerage yachts a compelling proposition. The firm notes that Dutch shipyards have built their reputation on centuries of maritime heritage, combining engineering with capability to deliver custom superyachts. Burgess states that the enduring appeal of vessels from these yards helps support long-term value retention.

The brokerage observes that yachts combining recent delivery with Northern European provenance, proven engineering and extensive lifestyle features remain scarce, and that opportunities of this calibre are unlikely to remain available for long.
